Pohang Steelers are a South Korean football club based in Pohang, Gyeongsangbuk-do. They were originally called POSCO, after the Pohang Iron and Steel Company that owned it, the club was founded in 1973 and is one of Korean football's most successful sides. In 2009 AFC Champions League Final, the Steelers defeated Al-Ittihad 2-1, and won the championship.

The 2010 African Cup of Nations will be the 27th edition of the African Cup of Nations, the football championship of Africa (CAF). It will be hosted by Angola.[Angola was awarded the right to host the tournament by CAF in a decision to rotate the hosting of the Cup and allow new nations like Angola, Gabon and Equatorial Guinea a chance to host the tournament. Bids from Mozambique, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Senegal were rejected. Gabon and Equatorial Guinea were also awarded the hosting rights to the 2012 Nations Cup, while Libya would be hosting the event for the second time in 2014. Two-time former hosts, Nigeria is the reserve host for the 2010, 2012 and 2014 Nations Cups, in event that any of the host countries fail to meet the requirements established by CAF.

The Angola national football team, nicknamed The Black Antelopes, is thenational football team of Angola and is controlled by the Federação Angolana de Futebol. Angola are currently 92nd in the FIFA Rankings, but haved reached 45th in July 2000. Angola qualified for their first World Cup in 2006. They did not get out of the group stages, but was still a tremendus achievment for the country.

England lost 2-1 to Argentina in the quarter finals when Maradona scored one handball and one great goal. Gary Lineker did get the golden boot award however, by being top scorer (6 goals).

Originally, they played in pink shirts with a black tie, but only because they had been sent the wrong shirts. The father of one of the players made the earliest shirts, but continual washing faded the colour so much that in 1903 the club sought to replace them.

Juventus asked one of their team members, Englishman John Savage, if he had any contacts in England who could supply new shirts in a color that would better withstand the elements. He had a friend who lived in Nottingham, who being a Notts County supporter, shipped out the black and white striped shirts to Turin. Juve have worn the shirts ever since, considering the colors to be aggressive and powerful.

Manchester City can today reveal this season's "third kit" in the brilliant new Umbro range - and it's a classic remastered that will have older Blues fans thinking back to the Seventies.

While the new kit draws its inspiration from the Club's proud history and an element of familiarity, it is a superb design for today rather than simply an exercise in nostalgia.

The shirt has a black and red sash across a white base with the team sponsor subtly located under the crest, but the sash slants in the opposite direction to those on previous designs.

VVV returned to the Eredivisie, the highest league in the Netherlands, by defeating RKC Waalwijk in the promotion/relegation play-offs. VVV-Venlo Home Shirt Keisuke Honda (本田 圭佑, Honda Keisuke, born 13 June 1986 in Settsu, Osaka Prefecture) is a Japanese footballer who is currently the captain of Eredivisie side VVV-Venlo. He is a midfielder and can also play as a left full back.

Honda's success at VVV Venlo has gained him a cult following with the VVV Venlo fans and admiration from an adoring Japanese public prompting his nickname, 'Keizer Keisuke', which is Dutch for Emperor Keisuke. Honda's prowess from freekicks and other set pieces is one of the reasons for his adoration.

On August 10, 2009, English sports channel Sky Sports News reported that Liverpool FC are lining up a move for Keisuke Honda.
